Pure Form

Command the elements to shape the world in Pure Form, the Elemental Tabletop Roleplaying Game. Play as an elemental, a person with the power to control one of five elements: Fire, Water, Rock, Life, and Light. Your emotions rush out into the world through your fingertips, your desires manipulate atoms to match your design.

Pure Form takes place in a brand new, low magic setting: the world of Creation. Each continent is home to a different element as well as a tapestry of geographies, cultures, wildlife, and traditions. As you explore, negotiate, and fight your way through the continents, you'll form lasting connections with characters and gain new dimensions to your elemental powers. Leveling your character up through the game's original milestone system lets you unlock deeper control of your element. 

Pure Form uses a novel contested roll combat system, but more importantly, it puts your imagination in charge of coming up with creative uses for physics-derived elements. Fire elementals actually control atomic motion. On top of throwing fireballs, eventually they can even slow enemies down in combat. Water elementals actually control pressure. That means they can shape air into hurricane-speed wind just as well as metal-cutting water jets. Rock elementals control crystallization to grow rocks, glass, crystals and metal. Eventually they can turn objects into dust and back in an instant. Life elementals actually control biochemical signals. They have an animal companion and grow plants at will, and eventually can create whatever new forms of life they can imagine. Light elementals actually control electromagnetism. They can bend light to hide or irradiate others, and eventually can shoot lightning or crush people inside their armor with magnetic force. 

Create your character with a personality quiz to determine your OCEAN scores based on real personality research. Choose your element, and select one of the techniques with which to control it. Techniques let characters specialize in different kinds of combat like long range, area of effect, and front line. You can even specialize in fighting with weapons imbued with your element.
